Werley da Silva

Werley Ananias da Silva is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender in the right-back position. Since his early days of playing football, Werley had been a part of the youth academy at Atletico Mineiro. In 2008, he was promoted from the youth academy into the first team and was placed in the reserve squad.

Every now and then, injuries or suspensions meant that Werley would get a call up to the first team but most of his 32 appearances came as a substitute. In 2012, he was sent out on a loan spell to Gremio, in order to gain a bit of playing time. However, Werley has failed to find any place in the first team at is loan club.
