A professional football player from Brazil, Kleber Giacomace de Souza Freitas plays as a striker. Freitas began his playing career at the youth academy at Sao Paulo in 1994. From the age of 11, in 1994, to the age of 19, in 2002, Kleber played an essential role in the academy team. In 2003, he broke into the Sao Paulo first team and played 28 games for the first team, scoring 3 times.

From 2004 to 2009, Kleber moved to Europe and signed up with Dynamo Kiev. Except for 2008 when he was sent out on loan to Palmeiras, Kleber would remain in Dynamo Kiev, playing just 77 times but scoring 28 games for the side. This move to Europe came right after his performance at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championships where he helped Brazil lift the title.

With Dynamo Kyiv, Kleber won the league title twice, in 2004 and 2007, and won the Ukrainian Cup three times between 2005 and 2007. During his loan spell to Palmeiras, in 2008, Kleber helped the team win the 2008 Sao Paulo League title, scoring 8 times in his 30 appearances. In 2009, after finishing his contract with Kyiv, Kleber returned to Brazil and signed up with Cruzeiro.

Between 2009 and 2010, he helped the team win the Minas Gerais league title, but played only 19 times in the league, scoring 9 goals. Kleber moved to Palmeiras in 2010-11 and after 11 goals in 41 appearances. In 2012, he moved to Gremio but has been a part of their first team in the state leagues, but not in the Serie A campaign so far.
