Marcelo Grohe

A professional football player from Brazil, Marcelo Grohe plays as a goalkeeper for the club where he made his professional debut, Gremio. From 2000 to 2005, Grohe spent 6 years playing in the Gremio youth academy and slowly worked his way into the first team. However, as young goalkeepers often have to do, Grohe was waiting in the wings without being able to get much playing time.

Since 2005, Grohe has only made 16 league appearances for Gremio at the highest level, although he has been a regular part of the squad that went on to win the 2005 Brazilian Serie B title as well as the 2006, 2007 and 2010 Rio Grande do Sul State League championships.
