Marco Antonio Miranda Filho is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as an attacking midfielder. A graduate of the Sao Paulo youth academy, Antonio joined the first team at Sao Paulo in 2003. Although from 2003 to 2007, he was on the books of Sao Paulo, Antonio spent most of his time out on loan. He spent 2004 with Clube Nautico Capibaribe before moving to Esporte Clube Santo Andre in 2005.

In 2006, Antonio would first go to Esporte Clube Juventude before moving to Sport Clube do Recife. Finally, in his last year at Sao Paulo, Antonio was sent on loan to America Futebol Clube before moving to Criciuma Esporte Clube later that same year.

In 2008, after playing just 23 league games for Sao Paulo and being a small part of the squad that won the 2005 Sao Paulo State Championships as well as the 2005 Copa Libertadores title, Antonio moved to Esporte Clube Vitoria. It was, however, only in 2009 that Antonio finally made a mark on the world of football. Signing with Portuguesa, Antonio became a regular in the first team, playing over 90 games for the club and scoring 16 goals. He led the club to the Brazilian Serie B title and helped them gain promotion in 2011.

In 2012, Antonio moved to Gremio where he has to work his way into a regular spot in the club’s first team.
