Julio Cesar Coelho de Moraes Junior is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender. He began his playing career in 2001, with Bangu Atletico Clube, the same team where he would make his professional debut a year later. After a season at Bangu, Julio Cesar moved to America Futebol Clube in 2003 and after 12 games, moved on to sign with Flamengo.

Although Julio Cesar was part of the 2004 Taca Guanabara title winning side as well as the Rio de Janeiro State League winning team, he had only played 12 times for the team in the league, in 3 seasons. Julio Cesar moved to Marilia Atletico Clube in 2005 and then to Cruzeiro in 2006. Julio Cesar would spend most of his Cruzeiro time playing on loan although he would play 16 games for the team, helping them win the 2006 Minas Gerais State League title. 2007, for the player, would be spread between playing for Cabofriense and Clube Nautico Capibaribe. For the latter, he would play over 25 games and score 5 goals.

In 2008-09, his last season with Cruzeiro, Julio Cesar would go on loan to Goias Esporte Clube and play 64 games with 9 goals to his name. He had a fantastic season with Goias and ended up on the books of Fluminense in 2010. However, Julio Cesar failed to re-create his form and even though he won the 2010 Serie A title with Fluminense, the defender had played just 30 games in three seasons. Towards the end of 2011, Fluminense decided to loan Julio Cesar out to Gremio, where he plays his football now.
