Wellington Silva Sanches Aguiar, commonly known as Wellington Nem, is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as an attacking midfielder. As a youth football player, Nem began his playing career with the Fluminense youth academy. From 2005 to 2011Nem worked his way through the youth academy and broke into the first team in 2011.
In 2009, Nem was picked for the Brazilian Under-17 squad and in his three games, scored a solitary goal. In 2011, after breaking into the first team at Fluminense, Nem was sent out on loan to Figueirense and during that loan spell, he came into his own with some fantastic performances. In his 26 games, Nem scored 9 goals and set up many more to gain a call-up to the senior national team.
So far, Nem has made two appearances for the national team.
