Edimo Ferreira Campos, also known as Edinho, is a professional football player who plays as a midfielder with a defensive role. Although his main playing position is in the role of defensive midfielder in the centre of midfield, Edinho can also play in all other midfielder positions. In 1999, Edinho began playing for Barreiras in 1999, as a youth team player.

He moved into the first team at Boavista Esporte Clube, in 2001, and over the next two seasons, played for the reserve team. In 2003, he moved to Internacional and established himself as one of the most important first team players. He helped Internacional win four Rio Grande do Sul State League titles in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008.

In 2006, He helped the team win the Copa Libertadores Cup and then, later in the year, went on to win the 2006 FIFA World Club Cup. He would then help them win the 2007 Recopa Sudamericana title as well as the Copa Sudamericana in 2008. In 2009, Edinho moved to Italy and signed up with Lecce. He played a single season there, playing 31 games but not doing enough to stay out there.

He moved back to Brazil in 2010, Palmeiras signing up Edinho in a bid to get him to play some of his older Internacional-football. He played 30 games and scored a single goal before moving to Fluminense in 2011. Since moving to Fluminense, Edinho has played over 30 league games, scoring 1 goal.
