A professional football player from Brazil, Sandro Silva de Souza plays as a defender. In 2006, Sandro began his playing career at Fluminense, before breaking into their first team a year later. Playing for the first and youth teams through 2007, Sandro made his mark on the coaching staff but failed to make anything out of it. He only managed to get one start in the league and spent most of his time out on loan.

Throughout 2008-09, Sandro was out on loan to Ituano Futebol Clube where he played just three league games. He returned but was immediately sent out on a loan spell to Kazma Sporting Club in Kuwait. His loan spell was renewed at the end of the season and Sandro spent two years in the Middle-East, playing just 20 games and scoring a goal. He returned to Brazil in 2011, but this time, he had signed up with Figueirense Futebol Clube instead of going back to Fluminense.

Sandro continues to be a fringe player, spending most of his time on the bench at Figueirense, and playing with the reserve team.
