A professional football player from Brazil, Pablo de Barros Paulino plays as a defender in the left-back position. However, Pablo is something of an all-rounder, being able to play in many different positions including on the left side of midfield, in other defensive positions and effectively all over the park, behind the strikers and in front of the goalkeeper.

In 2006, Pablo began his playing career at Olaria Atletico Clube. After failing to make a mark on the first team, he moved to Vasco da Gama on loan, in 2007 and played 12 games for the side, showing off his versatility. Considered as one of the brighter talents in the game, Pablo was signed up by Real Zaragoza, in Spain, in 2008.

His Spanish adventure didn’t begin well and after failing to make a place for himself in the first team at Zaragoza, he moved to Malaga on a loan spell in the same year. Between 2008-09, Pablo spent his playing time in Malaga, only managing 14 appearances for the first team squad, before returning to Zaragoza. He moved to Gimnastic in 2010, again on loan, and 14 games later, was on the move once more, this time to Cruzeiro.

Pablo spend 2010-11 at Cruzeiro, playing 15 games for the first team before returning to Spain. However, his return was just momentary as Pablo found himself back in Brazil, playing for Figueirense, on his fourth loan move since signing with Real Zaragoza in 2008.
