Cardoso Everton
An attacking midfielder from Brazil, Everton Cardoso da Silva began his playing career in the youth squads of Atletico Parana Clube. In 2005, he really came into the reckoning for the first team but would only make his debut in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, Everton quickly established himself as one of the star players on the Parana line-up, grabbing a first team place only to never let it go.
He moved to Desportivo Brasil in 2008, but over the next season, failed to get into the first team. Instead, he was sent out on loan to Flamengo, where he starred for the team in every game, over 2008-09. Playing 32 times and scoring twice, Everton became a prized commodity with his creative flair.
In 2010, he moved to Mexico and signed up with UNAL Tigres but only managed to play 15 games in the season. In 2011, instead of sitting on the bench, Everton decided to head back to Brazil, on loan, and signed with Botafogo. He has, since arriving, become a regular part of the first team, playing 17 games so far.
