Joao Marcos Alves Ferreira is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. Mark began his playing career at Marilia Atletico Clube, a local team based out of his home town, in 2003. After playing for four seasons, with Marilia, Mark was noticed by Ponte Preta who brought him in for the 2007 season.
He moved back to Marilia, the following season, after barely getting an opportunity to play for the Ponte Preta first team. In 2009, Mark moved to Esporte Clube Noroeste, before signing up with Ceara Sporting club in 2009. Mark has remained with Ceara ever since.
