Pereira Fabiano
Fabiano Pereira da Costa is a professional football player who plays as a midfielder in Brazil, his home country. Having played through the Sao Paulo youth academy made his first-team debut in 1994. He only managed to make his debut in 1996, following which he became a regular player on the substitute bench. After spending six seasons at Sao Paulo, Fabiano moved to Portuguesa for some regular first team action.
Later in the same year, Fabiano moved to Internacional before moving onto Santos for 2002-03. The following year, his performances earned him a move to Spain, where he signed up with Albacete for the 2003-04 season.
For Fabiano, the Albacete-adventure would only last 12 games and he moved to Club Necaxa, in Mexico, in 2004. Four prosperous seasons later, Fabiano moved to Puebla FC for the 2008 season before Atletico Mineiro bought him for 2009. Amid a loan move to Sport Clube do Recife in 2009, where he was a regular starter and quite a significant goalscorer, Fabiano’s Atletico Mineiro stint saw him play a total of 45-odd games, only 18 of which were for Mineiro.
In 2011, he was sold to Avai Futebol Clube where he is yet to make an appearance in the team’s colours.
