A professional football player from Brazil, Wilson Rodrigues de Moura Junior plays as a goalkeeper. In 2004, Wilson began his playing career at Flamengo, with their youth team. Already having been part of their academy, it was in this season that Wilson made his mark and the following year, was called up to the first team.

In 2005, he broke into the first team but was the third-choice keeper for the club. After spending one year at that position, he moved out on loan to Portuguesa in 2006. Although the main reason behind the move was to gain regular playing time, Wilson failed to find anything there and moved onto Olaria the same year.

More disappointment later, Figueirense would come calling later in 2006, and suddenly, Wilson shot to the fore. Over three seasons, Wilson played around 105 matches for the team before moving onto the club full-time. His impact was so emphatic that Wilson’s loan spell was extended to three years following which he was signed permanently by the team he helped win the 2008 Santa Catarina State League title.
