Gilson Gomes

Gilson Gomes do Nascimento is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender on the left wing. Having begun his youth career at Clube Esportivo Nova Esperanca, Gilson made his professional debut with the same team, in 2008! However, he moved to Sao Jose in the same year, before moving on to Mirassol Futebol Club in 2009. Later in the same year, Gilson moved to Cuiaba before heading to Cascavel Clube Recreativo in 2010.

Following his move to Cascavel, Gilson was establishing himself as a first team player and quickly moving through the ranks, with another move, this time to Parana Clube, lining up for later that same year. Towards the end of 2010, Gilson moved to Gremio and after just 13 games for Parana, played another 12 for Gremio as he became known amongst the football circles. In 2011, Gilson spent time away on loan to America Futebol Clube, where he played 26 games and scored three goals. However, Gremio decided to transfer him out to Cruzeiro in 2012, where he is looking to make a place for himself in the starting line-up.
