Carlos Amaral
Carlos Rafael do Amaral is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. A youth team graduate from the Paulista Futebol Clube, Amaral made his debut for the first team in 2003. He played 15 games before being sold to Ituano Futebol Clube for the remainder of the year. In 2004-05, Paulista bought him back and Amaral spent the first year playing with the reserve team while the second year was spent on a loan move to Vasco da Gama. He won the Brazilian Cup title, in 2005, with Paulista, adding to the 2003 Serie C title he won with the team.
He started 2006 with Paulista as well but made a permanent move to Vasco da Gama within a few days, going on to play over 70 league games for the team in three seasons. One of those three seasons, 2008 to be precise, was spent on loan to Gremio, where he played 12 games before returning to Vasco, winning the 2009 Serie B title in the process.
In 2010, Cerezo Osaka signed Amaral up for the J-League championships and played 32 games, scoring five times, before returning to Brazil in 2011. He signed with America Futebol Clube and played over 30 games for the team before moving to Cruzeiro, in the Brazilian Serie A, in 2012.
