Rudnei da Rosa is a professional football player from Brazil, who plays as a midfielder. In 2003, Rudnei was launched into the limelight after some wonderful showings for the Figueirense youth team. After two years at the academy, he broke into the first team but only made 8 appearances before the end of the year and before his move to 15 do Novembro in 2006. Without playing a single game for his new team, Rudnei moved on to Gremio, and for the next four years, spent most of his time on loan spells.
His first loan spell came after 8 games for Gremio, when he moved to Criciuma in 2007. Without making a single league appearance, Rudnei was back in Gremio, fighting for a place on the first team, although nothing came his way. This forced him to look for another loan move in 2009, this time Clube Nautico Capibaribe being the destination. 11 games through the season was all that Rudnei could manage and the following year, he moved to Avai Futebol Clube for another loan spell.
Finally, at Avai, Rudnei began to show a bit of the talent that he was always known to have and ended up making 29 appearances for the first team, scoring two goals as well. In 2011, he was rewarded for his performances with a contract from J-League side, Ventforet Kofu, but after just two games, he returned home and signed for Ceara Sporting Clube in 2011. With Ceara, Rudnei played 19 games and scored a solitary goal before moving to Cruzeiro in 2012. His struggles to get a regular playing spot continue at his new club.
