A professional football player from Brazil, Everton Augusto de Barros Ribeiro is a defender who prefers playing as a left-wingback. Having started off in the youth academy, in 2005, at Corinthians, Everton came with a big reputation of being one of the future internationals that Brazil will see. He broke into the first team in 2007, at Corinthians, but in his four seasons, just played four games for the team and ended up spending a lot more time out on loan.
From 2008 to 2010, Everton spent his time at Sao Caetano where he was a regular part of the first team squad. He played almost 60 games, scoring 6 goals in the process. In 2009, his performances saw him get an opportunity to play with the Brazilian Under-20 squad as a member of the starting lineup. His four caps, and performances with Sao Caetano, caught the eye of Coritiba who bought Everton to strengthen their resources on the left side of defence.
