Anderson Simas Luciano, also known as Tcheco, is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. Having begun his playing career as a youth football player at Parana Clube, Tcheco broke into the first team in 1996. Although he didn’t play more than 17 games in the three years he was there, Tcheco did receive a winners’ medal for being a part of the 1997 Parana State League title winning team. In 1999, he moved to Clube Esportivo de Bento Goncalves before moving on to J. Malucelli Futebol in 2000.

In 2002, after playing just 2 games for J. Malucelli Futebol, Tcheco moved to Coritiba where he would start making an impression on his coaches. He played 45 games over two seasons and helped the team win the 2003 Parana State League title with 10 goals in that period.

In 2003, towards the end of the year, Tcheco would move on to the middle-east, signing up with Saudi club Al-Ittihad. Over the next three seasons, Tcheco would enjoy plenty of success with Al-Ittihad, winning the AFC Champions League title for two years in a row, in 2004 and 2005. Towards the end of his stint, Tcheco began missing his home-country and decided to move back to Brazil, with a loan move to Santos. He just made two appearances for the team before deciding to sign with Gremio, in 2006 for another two seasons of trophy-wins.

In 2006 and 2007, Tcheco would play around 50 games for Gremio, score seven times in the league and help the team win the Rio Grande do Sul State League titles in both those years. In 2008, he moved back to Al-Ittihad but after just 8 games, returned to Brazil and re-signed with Gremio for the remainder of that year and 2009. This time, Tcheco scored 10 times in his 57 games for the team, and moved on to the Corinthians in 2010.

At his new club, things didn’t quite work out for Tcheco and he ended up playing just a handful of games before moving onto Coritiba on loan. After 12 games throughout the remainder of 2010, Coritiba decided that they wanted Tcheco on a permanent deal and signed him up.

Tcheco is, currently, a part of the first team squad at Coritiba but has struggled to a find a place for himself in the first team or the playing eleven.
