Renan Soares
A Brazilian footballer from Sao Joao Batista, Renan Soares Reuter began his professional football career in 2009 with Avai Futebol Clube. The goalkeeper began his tryst with the club in their youth division in 2007, and soon managed to find a spot with the first team, after team mate Ze Carlos was injured.
Soares began the 2010 Brazilian Serie A tournament as the goalkeeper for Avai and remained with the club till 2011, when he signed a five year contract with Corinthians. Since his inclusion in the club in June, Soares made 3 appearances before being loaned out to Vitoria, where he plays currently.
Soares played internationally for the first time, on 26th July, 2010, when he was called in to be a part of the Brazilian national team. Apart from this, Soares has also participated in the Campeonato Catarinense in 2010, with Avai FC.
