Elton Rodrigues

A professional football striker from Iramaia, Brazil, Elton Rodrigues Brandao began his football career in 2003, with Iraty Sport Club. After spending two seasons with the club, Rodrigues moved in Associacao Desportivo Sao Caetano in 2005, where he made 8 appearances before moving once again to Esporte Club Santo Andre in 2006.

Rodrigues, did not play long with Santo Andre and in the same season, shifted clubs, moving to Legia Warsaw in 2006, and then returning to Iraty in 2007. In 2008, Rodrigues was back with Santo Andre.

In 2009, Rodrigues began the best phase of his career so far, after joining Vasco da Gama. The striker remained with the club till 2011, during which time he made 45 appearances and scored 22 goals. In 2010, Rodrigues was loaned out to Sporting Braga for a short period.

In 2010, Rodrigues was signed by his current club, Corinthians, with whom he has made 3 appearances already and scored 1 goal.
