Jorge Henrique de Souza is a professional football player from Brazil, who plays as a striker. Jorge began his playing career at the Clube Nautico Capibaribe youth team in 2001. In 2003, Nautico gave him a chance to play for the first team squad. Over the year, he played 25 games and scored 11 goals to earn a move to Atletico Paranaense in 2005.

The move came on the back of the 2004 Pernambuco State League title but he was unable to impress his new employers. He moved to Esporte Clube Santo Andre in 2005, on a loan move. In 2006, Jorge moved to Ceara Sporting on another loan move, but before he could play a single game, he moved to Santa Cruz Futebol Clube for the remainder of the year.

In 2007-08, Jorge moved permanently to Botafogo and became a regular member of the first team, playing over 50 games and scoring 8 goals. However, this striker wasn’t done yet because he would go on to sign for the Corinthians and become one of the first names on the team-sheet, playing almost 160 games since 2009. His 23 goals were essential for the team as they went on to win the 2009 Sao Paulo League State League title, the 2009 Copa do Brasil and the 2011 Serie A title.
