Danilo Andrade
A midfielder who loves to create opportunities for his teammates, Danilo Gabriel de Andrade is a professional football player from Brazil. He began his playing career with Goais Esporte Clube in 1998. The following season, he made his debut for Goias at the professional level. After a couple of seasons on the substitutes’ bench, Danilo found his way into the team that won the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003 Goiano league titles.
He moved to Sao Paolo in 2003, and went onto play an important role in the teams’ Copa Libertadores triumph in 2005 as well as the FIFA World Club Cup title. The following year, he helped the team win the 2006 Serie A title but in 2006, he moved to Japan after 100 games with the Sao Paolo first team.
In 2007, he started playing his magic for Kashima Antlers, helping the team win the Division One title for three seasons in a row. In 2007, Antlers won the Emperor’s Cup and the 2009 Japanese Super Cup was his last action with Kashima before he moved out to Corinthians, in Brazil. Danilo helped the Corinthians wrap up the 2011 league title, and has played over 105 games for the team so far.
