Paulo Andre Cren Benini is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender. Having begun his youth career, in 1999, with Sao Paolo, Benini moved to Centro Sportivo Alagoano in 2001-02. Towards the latter half of 2002, he moved to Aguas de Lindoia before signing with Guarani Futebol Clube in 2003.
While on the Aguas de Lindoia youth line-up, Benini had already made his debut for the first team, but didn’t manage to impress enough to hold onto a regular spot. In 2004-05, he made his first team debut for Guarani but it wasn’t until 2005-06, when he had signed with Atletico Paranaense, that Benini found some action on the pitch. In 2006, Benini moved to France and signed with Le Mans. From 2006 to 2010, Benini spent 4 years but played just 36 games while going out on loan, to the Corinthians, in 2009-10.
In 2010, Corinthians decided to make his move permanent and signed him on, playing him regularly since then.
