Paulinho Junior
Jose Paulo Bezerra Maciel Junior is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. Paulinho, as he was known, joined the ranks of Pao de Acucar in 2004-05. He played through their ranks and went on to impress the staff at CA Juventude, who decided to give Junior an opportunity. However, he was transferred to FC Vilnius in Lithuania the same season, taking up a spot in the starting lineup.
After 38 games and five goals, Junior moved onto LKS Lodz, in Poland, where his performance began to diminish. He played just 17 games throughout 2007-08 season and moved back to his teenage club, Pao de Acucar in 2008-09. In 2009-10, he moved to Club Atletico Bragantino, where he played 28 games and scored 6 goals before moving to Corinthians in 2010.
Since moving to Corinthians, Junior has had a fantastic run of form, playing over 94 games and scoring 16 goals. However, his biggest contribution has been to create opportunities for his teammates to score, especially in the 2011 season where he literally led Corinthians to the Serie A title and won the Silver Ball for the second most valuable player of the league.
In 2013 he signed for Tottenham to play in the English Premier League
