Rudnei da Rosa is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. Rudnei began his playing career at the youth academy at Figueirense, in 2003-04. He broke into the club’s first team in 2005, but failed to make an impact to earn anything more than 8 appearances.
In 2006, he moved to XV de Novembro but before making any appearances, moved to Gremio the same year. Between 2006 and 2010, Rudnei played just 8 games for Gremio but spent most of his time out on loan to other teams.
His loan-cycle began in 2007, when he was sent to Criciuma, before a 2009 loan deal with Nautico and a 2010 move to Avai Futebol Clube. While Rudnei never got any playing time at Criciuma either, he played eleven games with Nautico and was a regular starter at Avai Futebol Clube, with 29 appearances and two goals even.
After completing his contract with Gremio, Rudnei moved to Ventforet Kofu in Japan, where he played a couple of games and returned to Brazil to play for Ceara Futebol Clube. After 19 games with Ceara, Rudnei will be moving to Cruzeiro for the beginning of the 2012 season of football in Brazil.
