A professional football player from Brazil, Tiago Antonio Campagnaro plays as a goalkeeper in the country’s top division. As a youth player, Tiago was a star in the Parana Clube line-up before being picked up by Matsubara, in the lower leagues. In 2003, he made his professional debut with Clube Atletico Juventus but failed to make a single appearance through the entire season.
In 2004, he moved to Corinthians and even though he didn’t play a major role, just two appearances, he was part of the team that won the 2005 Serie A title. Still looking for a starting spot, Tiago moved to Portuguesa and stayed on as their second choice goalkeeper in 2006-07. In 2008, he moved to Vasco da Gama and played 22 games, winning the Serie B title in 2009.
In 2011, he moved to Bahia Futebol Clube where he continues to be the second choice keeper for the team. Tiago is also one of those rare goalkeepers who scores goals from set pieces. He has over 16 goals to his name from his freekick sojourns.
