Thiago Sales

Thiago Guimaraes Sales is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender. A youth product of the famous academy at Flamengo, Thiago graduated in 2006 to be a part of the first team. After spending three seasons at Flamengo without being able to get more than 6 games, Sales was on the move.

Despite being a part of the 2008 & 2009 Rio de Janeiro State League winning sides as well as the 2008 Taca Guanabara and 2009 Taca Rio title winning teams, Sales was unable to make much out of his Flamengo stint and even served a loan spell at Apollon Limasol.

However, failing to make an impact, he was sent to Fluminense, who signed Sales on a 1-year deal. At the end of the season, without having played a single game, Sales was sold to Avai Futebol Clube, where is continues to struggle to make himself a part of the first team.
