Walter Henrique da Silva or simply known as Walter is a Brazilian football player who plays as a striker/forward for F.C. Porto team, a Portuguese first division club. He also a part of the Brazilian national U-20 team other than Sao Jose and Internacional.
In August 2010, he left for Portugal to join Porto for a five year contract. But, Porto acquired the registration rights along with 75% of economic rights of Walter from Rentistas, the Uruguayan club for 6 million euros. Later on, Porto sold 25% rights to Pearl Design Holding Ltd. For 2.125 million euros, making Porto to own half of the economic rights. On 15th October, 2011, he scored four goals against Pero Pinheiro in Taca de Portugal match.
Moreover, Walter took part in U-20 South American cup, performing remarkably well during the match, as he ended up with being the top scorer with 5 goals. In his 18 appearances for Internacional team, 2008-2010, he scored 4 goals and for Porto, he made 23 appearances scoring 9 goals.
