A professional football player from Brazil, Felipe Patavino Saad plays as a defender at the highest level of the game. Saad began his playing career at Vitoria Esporte Clube, where he moved into the first team after graduating from their youth academy. He played 22 games for the first team in his debut season, signing up with Paysandu Sport Club the following season. In 2006, he moved to Botafogo and played for the entire year, but only made 10 appearances and spent most of his time on the bench.
Saad, however, caught the eye of French side En Avant de Guingamp and made his move to France where he finally came good! He played 76 times over the course of three seasons and established himself as one of the key members of the first team, helping the side win the 2009 Coupe de France title. In 2010, Saad moved to Evian where he spent another two seasons, playing only 19 times and scoring one goal in the process.
In 2012, he moved to AC Ajaccio, where he has yet to make his mark in the first team and find a regular playing spot.
