Yoan Gouffran is a French football player who currently features for the Premier League club Newcastle United. He is a versatile player who can play either as a striker or as a winger.

Gouffran commenced his professional club football career at Caen in 2003 and played for the team for five years. It was at Caen that he established himself as a promising young attacker, scoring 33 goals in 115 league matches.

In 2008 Bordeaux came calling and Gouffran was once again impressive at his second club, going on to score 31 goals in 140 league matches. He also proved himself an able supporter as Bordeaux won the Ligue 1 title in 2008-09.

In January 2013 Newcastle signed Gouffran from Bordeaux for £1.2 million.

Gouffran scored three goals in 22 appearances for the France Under-21 side between 2005 and 2008, but he has yet to make his senior debut.
