Fernando Soriano made his professional football debut for Recreativo de Huelva in 2001 and played in all of the 39 league matches. His impressive performance earned him a recall to Real Zaragoza where he had played in the youth team and in three seasons that he played for them, he featured in 81 league matches. In the summer of 2005, he was signed by Almeria. Soriano has played over 50 leage matches for his club.
