Dominik Reinhardt is a football player of Germany National Football Team and a son of former player in the German national football team Alois Reinhardt playing currently for FC Augsburg as a defender.

He was born on 19 December 1984 in Leverkusen, West Germany. He started playing football in Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the same time when his father played. He has got chance to play for various teams in his youth career including FC Bayer Munich, TSV Hoechstadt and 1.FC Nuremberg. He signed his first senior contract with Nuremberg in 2002 scoring 1 goal in a match against Arminia Bielefeld on 22 October 2005.

He won the German DFB-Pokal in 2007 for his remarkable performances in the matches. He was loaned from 1.FC Nuremberg to FC Augsburg in 2009 for one year. After that, the next year in 2010, he was transferred to FC Augsburg. He has also represented the National U-21 football team of Germany.
