Born on 4 May 1976 in Dusseldorf, Germany, Simon Jentzsch is a football player from Germany playing currently for FC Augsburg as a goalkeeper.
He commenced his career in 1982 with SC Waldniel and left it in 1991. He has joined Bayer Uerdingen in 1993 and had continued with the same till 1995. In 1995 he had joined Karlsruher SC and had made 69 appearances till 2000. In July 2000, Jentzsch joined TSV 1860 Munich making 93 appearances and left the club in 2003 to join VfL Wolfsburg in which he has appeared for the maximum number of 142 times and in 2009 has signed a one-year contract with FC Augsburg.
He has also represented the National Football team of Germany U-21 level in 1996.
