Born on 26 May 1989 in Tomas Pekhart is a football player of Czechoslovakia, currently playing for 1.FC Nuremberg for Bundesliga as a striker and has represented the Czech Republic at U-16, U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-21 as well as is a part of Czech Republic National Football team.
Tomas commenced his career with TJ Sušice in 2001 and had moved to TJ Klatovy after a year. In his early career he has also got options to play with the teams Slavia Prague and Tottenham Hotspur in 2003 and 2006 respectively.
Senior career of Tomas began with Tottenham Hotspur in 2008. Meanwhile he has also played with Southampton and Slavia Prague on loan making total of 22 appearances and 3 goals. He moved to FK Baumit Jablonec in 2010 and scored 15 goals in 29 matches in a year. He returned to his old club of Slavia Prague on loan and scored seven goals in 9 matches.
He has also had an opportunity of representing his country in FIFA Under-20 World Cup as the youngest player in the squad in Canada. He also holds the record of scoring maximum number of 17 goals for Czech Republic U-21 team. HE had also represented the team at the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
His debut for Czech Republic was made on 22 May 2010 in a match against Turkey.
