Denni Avdić is a professional football player playing for Werder Bremen as a striker. Born in Huskvarna, Sweden, Denni played for the team of Husqvarna FF. He played one match for the Sweden national football team. The major teams that he had been a part of include Elfsborg, Werder Bremen and Sweden team.
At the age of 15, he got selected by Danish Superliga club, Brondby IF. He played for the reserve team of Brondby in the Danish second Division East, the third tier of Danish football. But he didn't play any senior games for the club. In 2006, Denni got released by Brondby, as he wanted to live closer to his family in Sweden and later on, he was selected by IF Elfsbourg team in the Swedish Allsvenskan championship. During this period, he was praised by the officials of Elfsborg as one of the greatest talents in Swedish football.
In November 2006, he made his debut for Elfsborg and later on, he played from the start in the first ever match of Elfsborg, the Royal League match. He scored two goals in the 4-0 victory over AIK. On 3rd January 2011, he became the first new signing player of the winter for Werder Bremen team and he signed a contract with this team till summer of 2014.
