Gerhard Tremmel is a German football player who currently features for the Premier League club Swansea City. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Tremmel commenced his professional club football career at SpVgg Unterhaching in 1998 and played for them four years, making 68 league appearances. Thereafter, he moved to Hannover and went on to play for Hertha Berlin II and Hertha Berlin.
In 2006 Energie Cottbus signed Tremmel and there he established himself as a first-team regular, going on to play in 93 league matches over four years.
After a one-year stint at Red Bull Salzburg, Tremmel moved to Swansea City in the summer of 2011.
