Martin Mauricio Astudillo is an Argentine footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Osasuna. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
Martin Astudillo commenced his professional career at Primera B Nacional side Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba of Mendoza Province in 1995 and two years later was signed by Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy of the Primera Division Argentina.
Astudillo then made the bold move abroad to Spain and to Alaves and played for them until the January 2008. He featured in 149 league matches for Alaves and played both in La Liga and in the Segunda Division with the Basque side in these years. He featured in the UEFA Cup final against Liverpool in 2001 which they lost.
In January 2008,he was signed by the Pamplona side Osasuna.
