Phil Jones
Phil Jones is an England international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Manchester United. He plays as a defender and can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
Jones developed at Blackburn Rovers’ youth academy and made his debut for them in 2009. He quickly showed his promise and was an important player for them for the next two years.
In June 2011 Manchester United came calling and signed Jones on a five-year contract for a reported transfer fee of £16.5 million. He made his competitive debut for the Red Devils in their 3-2 victory over Manchester City in the 2011 Community Shield.
Evans has since become one of the more important players in manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s team and is rated as one of the more promising English players.
Jones made his international debut for England against Montenegro in a Euro 2012 qualifier on October 7, 2011.
