Angelos Basinas is a Greek international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Real Mallorca. He plays as a midfielder and won Euro 2004 with his Greek national side.

Angelos Basinas made his progress through the youth ranks of the Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos and made his senior debut in 1995. He would go on to feature for the club until the end of the 2005-2006 season and won 2 domestic league titles and one Greek Cup.

Basinas signed for Real Mallorca in January 2006 on a free transfer and saved them from relegation from La Liga that season. He has since been an integral figure for the Islanders and his midfield marshalry has been a boon for Mallorca.

Angelos Basinas is the captain of the Greek national team and led Greece to Euro 2004 triumph. In the final, Charisteas scored the winning goal of Greece against Portugal off a corner kick by Basinas, which saw Greece win the trophy.
