César Joel Valencia Castillo was born on November 16, 1994, in Quinindé, Ecuador. He stands 164 cm tall and he plays Winger. In 2022, when he was eight years old, he and his family moved to Spain. He has a relationship with Paulina Chapko and in 2022, they welcomed a baby together.

He started his youth career in 2005 and entered the Zaragoza youth system.

Senior Career

In 2011, he was signed to the Zaragoza B senior team. He played with them 34 times. He was also signed to the main team in 2011. In 2014, he was loaned to Malaga B.

In the 2014-2015 season, he was signed with Logrones. In the next season, he signed with Koper. From 2017 to 2019, he signed with Plast Gilvwice. In the 2018-2019 season, he helped the team win Ekstaklasa. He was also named that season’s Ekstarklasa Player of the Year and he was also named the Ekstraklasa Midfielder of the Year.

In 2019, he signed with the English team Brentford. He made 19 appearances for the team before they loaned him to Legia Warsaw, Alcorcon, and De Graafschap. As of the end of 2022, he is still signed with Brentford.
