Borja Ekiza Imaz

Borja Ekiza Imaz is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao. He plays as a central defender.

Ekiza joined Bilbao’s youth academy at the age of 14 and was eligible to play for the Basque giants because of Navarres roots. He commenced his professional club football career at Baskonia – Bilbao’s C team – in 2006 and stayed with them for two years.

Between 2008 and 2011 Ekiza played for the C team, and thereafter he was promoted to the first team. He has since established himself as an important personnel for Bilbao.
