Alejandro Fernandez Iglesias
Alejandro Fernandez Iglesias, commonly known simply as Alex, is a young Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He plays as a midfielder.
Alex joined Real Madrid’s youth academy at the age of 12 and made his appearance with Real Madrid Castilla in the Spanish Segunda Division B in 2010 and made his La Liga debut for the first team on March 6, 2011 against Racing Santander in a 3-1 away win.
Alex won the Spanish Segunda Division B title in 2011-12 with Real Madrid Castilla, the UEFA U-19 Championship in 2011 with Spain. He was also adjudged the Player of the Tournament in that competition. His older brother Nacho also plays for Real Madrid.
