Antonio Adan is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Adan developed at Real Madrid’s youth academy and played for the C team between 2004 and 2006 and then for the B team from 2006 to 2010. He was promoted to the first team in pre-season training for the 2009-10 season and acted as the third-choice goalkeeper behind Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek that campaign.
On December 8, 2010 Adam made his first-team debut for Madrid in their 4-0 victory over Auxerre at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League and his La Liga debut on February 13, 2011 against Espanyol in Barcelona in a 1-0 win.
Adan won the European Championship with Spain’s Under-19 team in 2006 and was the captain of his side.
