Dennys Quiñonez is a professional football player who was born on March 12, 1992 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Quiñonez is best known as one of the center midfielders of Barcelona Sporting Club. Quiñonez also plays for the Ecuador national team.
When Quiñonez was younger, he quickly rose through the ranks and was soon considered as a prospect of the senior team. He spent five years with the youth team of Barcelona before he was signed to play for the senior team in 2010. Since the start of the 2010 season, Quiñonez has been a regular starter together with other prospects such as Christian Cruz and Brayan de la Torre.
Aside from an excellent career as a club player, Quiñonez is also the captain of the Ecuador Under 20 national team. A highlight of his career as captain of the team happened when the team was able to quality for the FIFA Under 20 World Cup 2011 which was achieved in February 12, 2011.
Incidentally, Quiñonez is also a member of the senior national team of Ecuador. He was able to play in April 21, 2011 when the team played against Argentina.
