Pablo Palacios
Pablo David Palacios Herreria is a professional football player who was born on February 5, 1982 in Quito, Ecuador. Palacios is best known for being a striker for Barcelona Sporting Club, as well as for being a member of Ecuador’s national team. So far, Palacios has been recognized as one of the top strikers in the domestic tournament level. In fact, he has solidified his reputation within the top clubs of Ecuador.
During his early years, Palacios started out as a member of LDU Quito, where he was a part of for three years. As soon as he was able to join the senior team, Palacios was signed by Otalvalo, although he was only able to play in 7 games with the team. His next stop was LDU Quito’s senior team, but was unable to play with the club.
In 2003, Palacios was signed by America de Quito, and although he stayed with the club for a year, he was only able to play in 10 games. His next club was Aucas, where he spent two years of his career with the club, playing in 81 games and scoring 23 goals for the team. Due to his excellence in scoring, Palacios was signed by Deportivo Quito before he was signed by Barcelona S.C. in 2008. So far, Palacios has a record of 100 appearances and 28 goals for Barcelona, and as an international player, he has 14 caps with 2 goals.
