Rorys Andes Aragon Espinoza, an Ecuadorian football player commonly known as “Rorys Aragon,” was born on June 28, 1982 in Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Aragon is best known as one of Barcelona Sporting Club’s goalkeepers.
Aragon’s career as a football player started when he was still in his youth. Aragon was able to play with one of the top clubs in Ecuador, Club Sport Emelec. This was during his early years back in his hometown Guayaquil. During those years, Aragon was a constantly observed as he was able to impress various domestic leagues and international club level teams as well. Though his time with Emelec was long, Aragon left the club due to the financial situation that the club was facing.
After his time with Emelec, Aragon continued to find a club that would be able to support him and soon checked out other major clubs. Some of the clubs that he joined include El Nacional, Standard Liege, Diyarbakirspor, and then Barcelona Sporting Club.
Aside from his club career, Aragon is also an international player, representing Ecuador in three games so far. Aragon joined the national team in 2007.
