Geovanny Nazareno

Geovanny Enrique Nazareno Simisterra is a professional Ecuadorian football player who was born on January 17, 1988 in Lago Agrio, Sucumbios, Ecuador. Nazareno is best known for currently being a defender of Barcelona Sporting Club, a team that he has been with since the very start of his professional career.

Although Nazareno has been with Barcelona Sporting Club, he was not always a part of the club as a youth player. Nazareno actually started with Caribe Junior from 2003 to 2005. Hoewver, he was noticed by Barcelona during one of his games and was asked to transfer or sign up with the team permanently.

In 2008, Nazareno was loaned to Deportivo Quito for a few months wherein Nazareno was able to play in 20 matches but was not able to score any goals. After a year, Nazareno wetn back to play with Barcelona Sporting Club, and has been with the club ever since.

Aside from being a club player, Nazareno is also an active international player. He joined the national team in 2008, and has since then played in 4 matches but has not yet scored any goals.
