Pavel Caicedo is a professional football player from Ecuador. Caicedo was born on June 15, 1977 in Pedro Carbo, Ecuador, and is best known for being a central defender of Barcelona Sporting Club, a club in Serie A de Ecuador.
Caicedo came from a club called Nuevas Estrellas, which gave him his big break in 1996. It was in 1997, however, that he made his debut as a player of the first team. At the time he was playing with Emelec, a club in Ecuador. There he stayed with the team for approximately 7 years before transferring to El Nacional. While at El Nacional, Caicedo continued to grow and improve and after 5 years playing with the club, he was signed by Sociedad Deportivo Quito. However, his stint with the said club was cut short as he was soon transferred to Barcelona Sporting Club as of 2011.
One of the things that Caicedo is known for is that he was a part of the team that won two Ecuador Series A championships. This was during his stint with Emelec.
