David Odonkor is a German international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Real Betis. He plays as a right winger and is an acclaimed German international. He was born to a German mother and Ghanaian father.
David Odonkor developed at German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund and made his debut for the senior side in 2001.He played for them until the summer of 2006 and played in 75 appearances.
He was signed by Real Betis in the summer of 2006 but suffered a serious knee injury in his first season in Andalucia. He was injured again in his second season at Betis.
Odonkor made his international debut for Germany at the 2006 Germany World Cup and heavily impresses in the chances that he received during the competition. He was part of the German national squad for the Euro 2008 finals.
