Jeremy Russell Brockieimage:Jeremy Brockie |Jeremy Brockie is a New Zealand football player who presently plays for the Newcastle Jets in the Hyundai A-League. He has also played for the New Zealand team at the senior international level and also at the Olympic Games.

Born in Christchurch in New Zealand in 1987, Jeremy started his career in football in 2004. He started to play for the Canterbury United team in the 2004-05 season of the New Zealand Football Championship. Having played as an attacking Midfielder, a striker and also as a winger, Jeremy played in 19 international matches. His first international match was against the Malaysia team in 2006.

The professional teams that he played for includes Canterbury United (2004-05), New Zealand Knights (2005-06), Canterbury United again (2006), Sydney FC (2006-07), Team Wellington (2008-09) and North Queensland Fury (2009-2010).

He received his first call for the All Whites team to play for the series against Malaysia in 2006. Later, the same year, he made his international debut as a substitute and played the last 20 minutes with 1-0 win against Malaysia. It was after the 2007-08 season, that Jeremy moved to the Wellington team and prepared himself to face the opponent teams. He was part of the New Zealand national under 23 football team and played for the Summer Olympics 2008.
